A Weighty Surprise

I had an unfortunate surprise today. I am trying to lose some weight and have started keeping track of calorie intake. This week, I am watching portions and what I eat for snacks, and recording what I eat to take stock in where the majority of my calories come from. Well, more than half of my daily calories (and about half of the daily recommended 2000) come from dinner. Most days, my calorie intake is right at 2000, if not over. It's no wonder I am not losing any weight, even with my exercising! But, now I know where I need to make my changes. Dan and I eat a lot of processed and boxed foods. We are going to start being more adventurous and find healthy recipes that don't come from a box! Hopefully, that will get my calorie count down to 1500-1800 per day and, with my current exercise regimen, the weight will start to come off! Skinny jeans, here I come!
