Labor Day Weekend

I am really excited for this long weekend; it will be nice to have an extra day to relax. Plus, my old college room mate and one of my best friends in the world is coming to visit. She is going through a rough patch right now and I am determined to help her have a fantastic weekend that is as tear-free as possible! We are going to check out the Taste of Madison today. Dan and I didn't go last year and heard we missed out! Basically, a bunch of food vendors set up in capital square and sell delicious food and there is live music - sounds like fun to me! I think I will take Katrina to the Union Terrace tonight for beers by the lake. A perfect place to relax and chat while Dan has his auditions for the school ensembles tonight! As far as the rest of the weekend....no plans yet, but I am excited to spend time with Katrina and catch up! She is fabulous!
