I have spent the weekend relaxing and gearing up for the next two weeks, which are going to be busy, but fun! This coming week, I only work 4 days (hooray!) and then Dan and I head home for 4th of July festivities. Next weekend is also opera weekend, which is one of my favorite weekends of the year! We always get front row seats and get to enjoy fabulous performances. I can't remember what operas we are seeing this year, but I'm sure I will have a great time! Speaking of opera, my first Madison Opera rehearsal is this week and I am pumped for that! This is the rehearsal for Opera in the Park, where we will sing various selections from opera and Broadway and I am excited to find out what is on the program!
When we come home from Des Moines/Ames, Dan and I will immediately begin packing to move to our new TOWN HOUSE! I am so excited for all the improvements: central air-conditioning, twice the sq. footage of our current apartment, a basement, more storage (in the kitchen especially), an address without an apartment number, two bathrooms, soft water, and best of all, my very own WASHER AND DRYER!
These next two weeks should be exciting! Until next time...
