As Promised...

I promised I would keep you posted and here it is: I WAS SELECTED TO SING FOR THE ENTIRE 2008-2009 MADISON OPERA SEASON! Can you sense my excitement? This is such an amazing opportunity for me! Not only will I have an "in" with the Madison music and theatre scene, I will have a new place to make friends, and be rubbing elbows with some amazing opera superstars! Madison Opera hires the principle roles from places like NY, Chicago, and LA. These opera greats have amazing resumes and experience with opera all over the world and I will be sharing a stage with them! Though I am only in the chorus, I am so excited for this experience. I will have a blast and learn tons! I can't wait to get back on the stage! There will be 5 performances this season: Madame Butterfly, Cosi fan Tutte (my favorite!), Faust, and 2 Opera in the Park performances. My first rehearsal is June 30th and it won't come soon enough!
