4th of July

I love the 4th of July! My hometown has a fabulous parade and fireworks display and my parents throw a great party! I was so excited for David to have his first 4th of July experience, even though I knew he would sleep through most of it - and I was right.

On the 3rd, we went to the parade. We saw lots of friends from my home church, chugged a 5 1/2 oz. bottle of breast milk, had a big ol' poopy diaper, and slept through most of the parade!
On the 4th, my parents had their annual party. We had 3 David Jonathan's present and managed to end the night without a single picture of the three of them together! But, lots of people got to see and hold David and he was a pretty happy boy during the party!

On the 5th, we had the fireworks, which had been rescheduled from the night before due to rain. David didn't even make it outside for the fireworks. He was already sound asleep with Grandma!

Dan didn't get to spend the 4th with us because he was back in Madison playing a 4th of July concert with the Beloit/Janesville Symphony Orchestra. So when we all got back home, we took a picture of Daddy and David in their matching tuxes! I LOVE IT!
