Brain Vacation

The intent of this trip back to Iowa was to spend time with family, and we have be doing just that; but the added benefit is the vacation my brain has been able to take! I haven't had to think about work or opera, or worry about the tidiness of my house or procrastinate grocery shopping. It has been wonderful! I knew I needed a brain vacation, but I didn't realize how badly until I finally got to "check out" for a while! I intend to make the most of tomorrow before it is back-to-work on Monday!
