Potty Training

So, this post started out really long....but you all probably don't want to know the step-by-step process we went through to potty train David.  So, I will hit the highlights and if you want the blow by blow, you can always let me know!  Basically we started on Monday with David naked from the waist down and we whisked him to the potty every time he started to pee on the floor.  There was much cheering, potty flushing, hand washing, and M&M eating.  By Tuesday he was initiating going to the bathroom on his own.  Oh, and he pooped on the potty and was rewarded with a sip of Dan's Coke.  On Wednesday, we introduced big boy underwear and he was not thrilled, so we did some habit training with the underwear and by Thursday, he was wearing the underwear most of the day and pooped in the potty again!  On Friday, we had our first excursion out of the house in big boy underwear with great success!  Saturday went just as well and on Sunday we went to church and the grocery store without any accidents.  He did have one accident this afternoon, but that is to be expected as he is learning how to go potty.  I am so proud of how he is doing and am excited to not buy diapers anymore!
