Improvements

I woke up this morning in a foul mood!  It would have been completely reasonable to call me a "bitch" in fact.  But, once I opened the door to David's room and he looked up at me with his to-die-for smile and said, "Good morning, Mama!" my mood began to lift!  We did puzzles, had yogurt for breakfast, listened to our Kindermusik CDs, read tons of books, and worked out.  Yes, David throws a ball around the den while I do some simple weight lifting exercises with my dinky 4 lb. kettle bell!  But, let me tell you, playing with a two-year-old, having a cup of coffee, and boosting endorphins with some exercise does wonders!  I put David down for his nap and did the dishes, spent two hours on homework, and now have time for another cup of coffee and a book!  I am so glad the "bitch" decided to stay in bed today so that I could have such a nice morning with David and such a productive afternoon!
