GOAL

Starting back on August 4, 2011, after much discussion with one of my best friends, I decided to join Weight Watchers.  I weighed in at 158.6 lbs. which was slightly overweight for my 5 ft. 6 in. frame.  This morning, January 12, 2012, I weighted in at 128.6 lbs., which is 1.4 lbs. below my goal weight of 130! 

This was not an easy 5 months, though it was not as difficult as I thought it would be.  If I had a bad eating day, I could just get back on track the next day.  I earned points for exercising and I could still eat what I wanted!  I learned most about portion control and that feeling full is very different than feeling ill after eating! 

I dropped from a size 12 to a size 6!  I went from wearing a 36C to a 34C!  My sweaters that I used to think fit me, actually do now!  They aren't too tight!  I am finally a thin and healthy person in a thin and healthy person's body, instead of a thin and healthy girl in a full figured body!

But, I am not finished!  Now, I embark on the maintenance portion of my journey.  I will still track my points, I will still exercise, I will still snack on fruits and veggies, I will still have chocolate, wine, ice cream, or margaritas on occasion.  But, I love the way I look and the changes I have made, so I am excited to continue this lifestyle!

I thought you looked great at Christmas and it was inspiring to see your success!
