Sorry I have not updated in over a week! Things were stressful and busy around our house last week as we prepared for Dan's Master's Recital! Dan was furiously running his music and tweaking each piece, I was furiously practicing the piece I played on my flute with him for the recital, and we were both cleaning the house as we prepared for family to arrive!
The performance was last night and I couldn't be more proud of my husband! This was the first time I had ever seen him nervous for a performance, but the recital was superb! The audience was very appreciative and his parents, my mom, and I were all impressed by his music! He has worked so hard for this and I am so glad the performance was a success! There was a sense of peace and relief as Dan and I lay on the couch last night talking about the evening! I know he is glad the recital and stress is over and is pleased with the end result!
So here is to my husband, best friend, and love of my life: You are amazing, sweetie! And I am so proud of you!
