Spring Break

...Is it here yet?

On March 14th at 1:30 p.m. I will officially be off work for 10 days.  Lately, I have been hating being a teacher for a variety of reasons, none of which I will bore you with.  I have dumped my emotions, anger, and tears on half of the people who read this blog anyway, so most of you know what I am talking about and the rest of you don't need to be burdened with my job issues!  Here is the thing, every job has its good days and bad days and I have just had a string of lots of bad days.  The students need spring break as much as the teachers do, so I am reminded why I went into teaching in the first place!  If I was working any other job, I would not get Spring Break!  So, I will take these next 10 days in stride!

The nice thing, however, is the amazing family I have been blessed with.  I know I post about this all the time, but I truly have the greatest family.  My parents and brother are awesome, all of my in-laws and future sister-in-law are fantastic, and Dan and David are the best things in the world.  I am so grateful for all of these people and the support and wisdom they bring to my life.

I also have some great friends.  One of them I get to see several times a week and she always makes me smile!  I have a Spring Break Mommy and Me coffee date with some friends and our kids that I am soooooo looking forward too!

So, really, looking at things, the good in my life seriously outweighs the bad and I am totally okay with that!
