I can't believe it is only Wednesday!

My whole week has been messed up since I took last Friday off for my brother-in-law's wedding.  The wedding was beautiful and I am so excited that I can officially call Sarah my sister-in-law and David's aunt!  Right after the reception, Dan started to get a head cold and was sick much of Sunday and Monday, so I took off work on Monday to take care of David.  As Dan started to feel better, I started to feel worse, so I went to bed early because I needed to work the rest of this week.  I had a huge, important meeting on Tuesday afternoon and another one today just before lunch, so my brain is mush simply from the stress of preparing for and leading these two meetings.  So, now that I have finally sat down to look back on the last several days, I feel like I have lived a month since Saturday!  Aside from being sick, things have been pretty good though, so that is a plus!  Also, tomorrow is our last day with students for the week, which is always nice because of the break from the kiddos and I actually sort of enjoy our professional development days.  So, Friday seems like it is coming quickly and I will get to end my week with a haircut and color and dinner at El Mariachi!  Sounds good to me!
