During recess, one of my students came up to me and pointed to another teacher from the building and he asked, "Are you the same as her?" I had to laugh, it was the cutest thing. Apparently, to small children, Mrs. C and I look alike - you know, both about the same height and size, both have glasses that we only wear sometimes, both have light brown hair - but my student was not the first to have asked me that, but he certainly had the most creative way of asking!
During dinner tonight, David was eating a spoonful of his chicken and veggies while I was getting another spoonful ready to zoom into his mouth. But, he looked at his bowl of peaches sitting on the table, pointed to them, and looked at me. He was clearly saying, "Can I have a bite of peaches, please?" My baby is so stinkin' smart and Dan and I were so proud and excited! Obviously, I gave him some peaches!
