Monday
It was so long ago that I can hardly remember what happened! But, I think it was a good day!
Tuesday
David gets a cold and there is not enough snow to cancel school. But, we got out 90 minutes early, which was awesome.....except one of my students didn't get picked up until 40 minutes after school released. So, I was the last teacher in the building.
Wednesday
My first snow day! David was very boogery and I got to stay home and snuggle with him all day! Plus, I got a paper done for my Educational Assessment class.
Thursday
David is still sick. I'm back at school, but I only have three of my four students. A day off in the middle of the week really threw them off. Not many smileys and KrummBucks were earned.
Friday
David is still sick! One of my kiddos is still off and decided that throwing things at my face was the way to deal with it. I did not have a very good afternoon with this student! Either did my face!
Friday Night
Slept in the recliner with David. The only way he can sleep is upright because he is so congested!
Saturday
David is still sick! We are very, very tired from sleeping in the recliner. Spent much of the day snuggled with David. Then we napped in the recliner from 4-6! Tasty Pizza Spaghetti for dinner and a nice hang out evening with my boys!
Saturday Night
Slept in the recliner with David until the power went off and the house got really cold. Went upstairs and crawled into bed with Dan. Slept poorly because David was in bed with us and I was paranoid about the whole SIDS and co-sleeping thing. But, he would have been a little ice cube in his crib with the power out in the house!
Sunday
David is still all congested. Dan got up with David and let me sleep until 9! :-) Bless him! Went to church, had leftovers for lunch, got the laundry started, and took David to my parents house. I worked on another assignment for my class and David is snoozing comfortably in the recliner with my mom. I hope all this extra sleep helps him feel better!
**I apologize that my tense changes through this post, but I don't feel like going back and fixing it!
