Please forgive me if this post seems a bit disjointed. I am watching the Olympic women's figure skating long programs right now!
It is almost Friday - Hooray! I have almost made it through a week of Dan being gone! The first few nights were rough but I haven't cried since Monday, which is an improvement! My mom is coming up for the weekend to keep me company and I am very excited! We are going to hang out, cook tasty food, shop for baby stuff, and just have a fun mother/daughter weekend!
Back to Dan, he is spending tomorrow with a famous Tanzanian drumming group and he is just going to be in Heaven. His visit with the drumming group and another local Tanzanian tribe are the two parts of his trip I am most excited to hear about! I'm sure he will come home and show me everything he learned and I can't wait to listen to all of it! He will really be in his element tomorrow and I am just going to send happy vibes his way! According to their itinerary, they will spend some of Saturday with computers so I am hoping for another e-mail update!
Okay, back to figure skating!
