Henry Vilas Zoo

Dan and I made our third excursion to the Henry Vilas Zoo this afternoon! This zoo houses some great animals, gives lots of information and to top it off, it is FREE! Some of today's zoo adventures included:
* Lion roaring at lioness (sort of like Ruby and Ruben at our house!)
* A chimpanzee picking his nose and eating it
* Three graceful giraffes standing in a row for the perfect portrait - except I didn't have my camera
* The tiger was pacing back and forth, then stopped to answer nature's call, much to the delight of an 8 year old boy who couldn't stop giggling and making fart noises
* A badger "tumbling through the underbrush" (Dan's terminology)
* Otters doing backflips off the wall of their enclosure
* Prairie dogs have a fight over their hole in the ground
* Capibaras communicating through "telekenesis" (also Dan's terminology)

All in all, it was a very enjoyable trip to the zoo!
