I Had A Good Day

The first kiddo that I saw today made me "Stinky Feet Water." This is when he puts his toes on the bottom of my water bottle, asks me to drink it and then falls into peels of laughter when I take a sip and make a yucky face! "Stinky Feet Water" always makes me smile. My second kiddo of the day had some amazing pretend play going on. He built an entire camp scene with Legos and his action figures. The figures sat around the campfire (the fire was made with the one orange Lego in existence!), they roasted marshmallows which we took turns blowing on and then the action figures got tucked into their Lego "sleeping bags" for a good night's sleep! I was so impressed with the creativity! Autism might be a tricky diagnosis, but the kids I work with never cease to amaze me!
