I can't help but feel nostalgic as I look ahead into June.* One of my BFFs is coming to run Dam to Dam and I am so stinking proud of her for all of her running accomplishments. But, mostly, I am excited to see her and excited that David finally gets to meet Aunt Kat. I wish we could visit each other more often, but being 6 hours apart instead of 2 makes those visits more difficult.
*I will finish my first year of teaching in the public schools! Ok, so not much nostalgia here, just relief! This has been a huge year of learning for me and I am so ready for summer break. I am quite convinced summer break is more for the teachers than for the students!
*David will be turning ONE!!!!!! I can't even believe how fast time has gone! I look back at his newborn pictures and he was just so tiny! Now he talks (even though Dan and I are the only ones who can understand him!), he is learning so many new things, he is trying very hard to walk, and he has a great sense of humor. Watching him grow over this past year has been so amazing and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful little boy! And, now I am sitting at my computer with tears pooling in my eyes, so I am going to end this blog before the spill down my cheeks!
