My husband and I adopted two kittens last weekend and have spent the week getting to know them and their habits. I have been dealing with allergies. I grew up with two cats and never had allergies, but I developed allergies after moving to college and not living with cats for 4 years. I know I will get used to them, but for now I am popping a Claratin every 24 hours. These kittens are great. Ruby and Ruben are 5 months old and are siblings. Ruby's eye got hurt when she was a baby and the vet couldn't save it, so she has a very cute wink. She also likes to pounce and be in the same room as everyone else! Ruben is obnoxious and I love him. He has no concept of personal space and will curl up in the bathroom sink while I am attempting to brush my teeth or sit on the ledge of the bathtub while I shower. Both kittens are very playful and I am so glad to have cats again......glad enough to put up with the allergies! Until next time...
